If we do not have anything booked in the rented room the day before, you may come in and set up at this time. If we do have a booking, you may come in the day of to decorate. The hall will be open a limited amount of hours for decorating and set up. All arrangements must be made ahead of time with the Grand Plaza.
All events must be over by midnight. Special arrangements may be made to extend the hours of the event but the renter must receive prior approval. Additional charges may apply.
Yes, tables and chairs are included with the hall rental. These will be set-up prior to the designated decoration time.
We are able to accommodate special bar requests. Let us know at least a month ahead of time what your special requests for the bar selection are and we will have that available for your guests. Additional charges may apply for specialty items.
Nothing may be hung from the walls or the doorways. Approved banners and string lights may be hung from the ceiling with our magnetic ceiling rings. All decorations need to be approved before the event.
Yes, there is both a visual and audio system available. There is an additional charge that applies to the use of the visual and audio system. Please contact us to get pricing and availability information.
No, The Grand Plaza supplies the bartenders for all events. There is no additional charge for bartenders as long as the bar minimum is met. The bar minimum is $100 in sales per hour; and if that is not met, there is a $20 charge per hour per bartender.
All linens and China must be supplied by The Grand Plaza. Please contact us for pricing on different options and colors.
The renter may choose their own caterer for the event from our approved list of caterers. All caterers must have a food service license.

All food served in the Platinum and Gold Rooms must be prepared by a caterer with a food service license and all drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic must be purchased through the Grand Plaza. The Silver and Bronze Rooms may have food and non-alcoholic beverages brought in. There is an additional setup/cleaning charge if food and beverages are carried in. Absolutely no outside alcoholic beverages of any kind may be brought into the venue.
